Sandy’s Canyon Trail is located just outside of Flagstaff, Arizona. It isn’t a very long trail, as it is just 3 miles long, but it will get your heart pumping when ascending back up the trail on your way back to the trail head. This out and back trail offers beautiful scenery and great views as you hike your way in and out of the canyon. You will be glad you chose to hike Sandy’s Canyon Trail as it will put a smile on your face and be thankful that you are able to experience beautiful places such as this trail in Flagstaff, AZ. Make sure to take your camera as you have great views of the San Francisco Peaks and Walnut Canyon.
The trail is located about 17 minutes south of Flagstaff off of Lake Mary Rd. Click here for directions.

Notes:
Dogs must be on a leash. There is no water access, so bring your own. Horse riding is allowed on the trail. This trail is operated by the US National Forest Service. Hike out what you hike in!
