Little Spring to Bismark Lake Trail – Flagstaff, AZ

Little Spring to Bismark Lake Trail, what a pleasure it was to hike this little 2.4 mile there and back trail. It was a beautiful day about 68 degrees up on the trail that’s above 8,000 ft. The views of Mt. Humphreys from this trail are spectacular. The only downside to it was that Bismark Lake is not a lake, at least not the time of year we visited. On the north part of the Little Spring to Bismark Lake Trail the weeds will be hitting your legs while on the trail, so make sure you have bug spray on. At the end of the trail is a small cliff with beautiful rocks. The Arizona Trail is close by and there are also places to camp while driving up to the trail head. If you get the chance, check this trail out if you are near Flagstaff.

Elevation gain: Approximately 240 feet

Length: 2.4 miles out and back

Time: 48 minutes

Note: The road leading to the trailhead is rough and a high clearance vehicle is recommended.
