Crystal Lake Trail is located at Crystal Lake Park in Beaufort South Carolina. This past Thursday we decided to stop by and check out this trail. We were not disappointed. First of all there was plenty of parking, which is always a great start.
The trail is about .70 miles long so its a nice easy short walk. The trail starts off with on a boardwalk and mostly stays that way except for the left side of the lake the trail is more of a natural trail with roots you have to watch out for. You will likely see plenty of wildlife and very few people on the trail.

Once we got to the point to where you can go left or right we chose to go check out the deck over looking the lake. It was a very beautiful view. Then we chose to go the natural side of the trail first with the roots and such. This way we could come back on the boardwalk side.

This trail is absolutely a trail we would walk again and highly recommend. It’s great for a lunch break walks, baby walks, and nature walks.
