On June 14th 2024 we took a short .6 mile hike on Hunters Beach Trail in Seal Harbor, Maine. The trail is listed as easy on the Alltrails App but I would rate it as moderate. The trail can be a little muddy and slippery. All trails has it listed as 68ft of elevation change, but if feels like its a little more than that. Maybe its because we had already hiked several trails that day so maybe it felt steeper than it actually was.
Halfway down the trail we actually re-entered Acadia National Park. The trail is well maintained and is beautiful. As we got closer to the end of the trail a gorgeous creek appeared. The creek is quite rocky so there is plenty of photo opportunities, just be careful and don’t move any of the rocks please.
