Don’t you dare ride the path without stopping at Driftwood Beach. What an amazing sight as the trees lie among the beach from losing their battle to years of erosion.
The entire path is about 14 miles long. I did 10 miles of it and I just couldn’t go any further. My fault though 100% as I did not stretch before taking off on the ride. So a bit of advise, STRETCH before you ride so that you do not die. Only figuratively speaking of course. I promise you, you will not regret this ride on the Jekyll Island Bike Trial.
