On June 15th 2024 we decided to hike the Lower Hadlock Pond Loop Trail. The trail is a 1.7 mile loop that goes around the Lower Hadlock Pond. The parking area is actually across the road from the start of the trail. From the parking area we walked across the road and saw a thin little walking trail that took us down to the start of the trail. The trail is rated as moderate on the Alltrails App and that makes since due to all of the roots on half of the trail.
We certainly enjoyed the trail and the views around the pond. The trail seemed like it was longer than 1.7 miles, but I would say that is because we had to walk slower than normal to take our time around the roots. Not to mention the stops to take in the wonderful views.
The second half of trail or left side is super easy walking as it is wide and more smooth. We went counter clock wise around the trail so that’s why I say the second half.
