We were in Murphy, North Carolina on our way from Chattanooga to Cherokee. We decided to stop and check out downtown because we had seen that there was some antique shops downtown that might be interesting and they were. However, we started to get hungry and were not sure where to go. So we looked at google maps and saw a few places that looked interesting. Ultimately, We decided on Main Street U.S.A mainly due to the insane prices that were on the menu as shown in google. Usually this stuff isn’t accurate anymore as inflation has caused everything to sky rocket.
As we were pulling into the parking lot the first thing we said is” This must be good”. You know when you see a restaurant have a full parking lot in the middle of a work day that it has to be good. Sure enough it was! The both of us ate for a grand total of $13.69! Cassie got the burger and fries while I got the Grilled Chicken Sandwhich and fries. Yes, that $13.69 included the drink as well. Just look at those fries in the above picture! Yummy, yummy, in my tummy!
It looked like most people in there were getting the Hot Bar which had one meat and three sides if I remember right. These items were home cooked type foods. It looked like a great deal. We just weren’t much on the sides that were offered other than fries. No worries though they had plenty of things on the menu and were all great prices.
The next time we are in Murphy, NC will will absolutely be back!
