We enjoyed walking this trail. There are several loops you can do if you want a shorter or longer trail. Be sure to download the map from the county park website or take a picture of the map at the start of the trail to stay on the right colored trail. There are 4 different trail options ranging from 1.2 miles to 4.5 miles. The blue loop on the island has very pretty views if you want to go for a longer walk or ride. The park is open to walkers, runners, cyclists, and equestrians.
Equestrian notes from my mom: The left side of the orange trail had a significant wet area. Had to dismount and walk horses through some brush. Otherwise good ride. Nice views. Horses were able to cross the second wet area using the bridge. Overall, a safe ride for horses. It was about a 2 hour horseback ride at a walk.
