Are you traveling through Needles, California? If so be sure to stop at the Wagon Wheel Restaurant. The food is very good and they have super affordable prices. I enjoyed their spaghetti marinara. The inside of the Restaurant is wooden and rustic which I love. There is also a gift shop inside with many Route 66 memorabilia.
Planning to stay in Needles? Needles has many beautiful campgrounds which are more fun and cheaper than a good motel or hotel. Don’t have an RV or tent? No worries you can stay in a 1 room Kamping Kabin for as little as $50. The cabin has A/C along with a double bed and twin bunk beds, but make sure you have your own linen. If you stay at KOA’s you already know this, but that’s part of camping. The cabins also have a front porch swing that is amazing to swing in with your spouse, especially after the sun goes down. The Needles KOA has a playground and a nice pool for you and the kids to enjoy. So next time you’re traveling through Needles camp at the Needles KOA and make sure you have dinner at the Wagon Wheel. To me staying in a KOA Kamping Kabin is the most fun way to travel.
